Electrical Design Engineer (f/m)
Design electrical systems for modern industrial plants and contribute to international investment projects in multidisciplinary engineering environments.

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer (f/m) to join our engineering team and support industrial projects from early design stages through to implementation.
In this role, you will work in multidisciplinary project environments and actively contribute to the electrical design of complex industrial facilities.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Supporting electrical design activities from pre-engineering phase to project execution
Designing and dimensioning plant power distribution systems (LV & MV)
Preparing electrical specifications, technical requirements, and design inputs
Creating and updating Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
Preparing load lists, electrical calculations, and technical documentation
Performing cable sizing, routing, and layout planning (independent of specific software tools)
Providing design requirements and guidance for 3D modelling (Aveva E3D / Plant 3D)
Cooperating closely with process, mechanical, instrumentation, and automation engineers
Supporting VFD selections and basic configuration activities
Ensuring technical consistency and compliance with project standards
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
Professional experience and technical competencies (must-have):
Experience in electrical design for industrial plants or industrial facilities (plant design / industrial design environment)
Strong understanding of plant power distribution systems (LV & MV)
Practical knowledge of industrial electrical systems at low voltage levels (LV)
Experience working with plant-level electrical documentation (e.g. Single Line Diagrams, load lists, electrical specifications)
Ability to support electrical design across different project phases
Experience working with electrical CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar)
Fluent English and Polish (spoken and written) — required for daily cooperation within the project environment
Nice to have:
Experience working in engineering consultancies or industrial end-user environments
Familiarity with process, instrumentation, or automation systems
Experience with electrical network calculations (e.g. Neplan, ETAP)
Experience with medium voltage systems (up to 10 kV) — strong advantage
Experience coordinating or reviewing 3D modelling activities
Personal and teamwork skills:

This position is formally assigned to the Comatec office in Wrocław, Poland; however, fully remote work within Poland is possible.
