Tekla Steel Structure Designer
Are you skilled in structural design and looking to take your career to the next level in an international engineering group?
We are looking for a Tekla Steel Structure Designer to join Comatec Process and Automation, part of the Comatec Group. Our expertise includes design and consulting services for equipment, process and technology suppliers, as well as for production and energy plants.
In this position, you’ll work as part of our steel structure design team on international customer projects. Your area of responsibility will focus on structural design and strength calculations for steel structures, depending on your education and experience. To succeed, you’ll need a hands-on, proactive attitude and the ability to take on a wide variety of technical challenges. We are looking for a professional with several years of experience in streel structure design. You'll have the chance to specialize and grow your technical expertise. You'll be supported by a team of experienced engineers and encouraged to bring your ideas to life.
You’ll work closely with our customers and internal stakeholders, so strong collaboration and communication skills are important. Due to the international nature of our work, excellent English language skills are required. The role is based in our Brașov office, with the possibility for partial remote work.
We hope you bring:
- A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (mechanical or structural)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow
- Experience with Tekla Structures
- Familiarity with structural calculation software (such as RFEM, STAAD Pro, Ansys, or similar) is a plus
- Knowledge of EN 1090 and Eurocode 3 (EC3) standards
- Excellent command of English
