Senior Design Engineer (Marine Machinery)
Design ship systems, lead engineering tasks, support team, and liaise with clients. Required 5+ years in ship design, mech/process degree, marine standards knowledge, Eng B2, and readiness to travel.
Your responsibilities:
- Designing ship equipment systems or installations.
- Supervising and leading design work performed by other engineers.
- Providing technical support to team members.
- Active communication with clients, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
Our requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in designing ship equipment or installations (P&ID).
- Experience in one of the following areas: 3D design, piping system design, machinery ventilation design including heating/cooling arrangements, power plant arrangements, lifting arrangements or deck outfitting..
- Knowledge of standards and regulations applied in the marine industry.
- Proactive approach to work and good teamwork skills.
- Good command of English (both spoken and written).
- Ability to travel for short-term business trips.
